Please note all bookings made at Mural Beauty are subject to the following terms and conditions:

Confirmation and payment

Weddings

 A 30% deposit is required to confirm a booking. An appointment is not confirmed until the deposit has been received and the booking date cannot be held without a paid deposit. This deposit is non-refundable.

The remaining balance must be paid two weeks before the appointment date. Mural Beauty will not perform the agreed services until full payment has been received.

Other bookings

A $20.00 deposit is required for all school ball/special occasion bookings. This deposit is non-refundable.

The remaining balance must be paid by the appointment date.

Cancellations or changes to appointments

To make a change to your booking or to cancel your appointment, please contact Mural Beauty via email with the details.

To change a booking or cancel an appointment within 72 hours of the appointment date, please call or text Mural Beauty directly on +64 22 095 3087.

Mural Beauty reserves the right to refuse any changes to a booking. However, Mural Beauty will endeavour to accommodate changes where practical.

Mural Beauty reserves the right to withdraw from any appointment, but will assist in finding a replacement makeup artist to cover.

Weddings

All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Weddings require a long lead-time and dates are difficult to rebook if cancelled at short-notice. Accordingly, if a booking is cancelled at short-notice the following charges apply:

1. If a cancellation is made within 30 days of your wedding date, you agree to pay 50% of the remaining balance immediately to Mural Beauty; and
2. If a cancellation is made within 14 days of your wedding date, you agree to pay 100% of the remaining balance immediately to Mural Beauty.

Other bookings

All deposits on cancelled bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. No further charges apply.

Refunds

Mural Beauty does not offer refunds for any completed services or trials. Therefore, if you are in any way dissatisfied, it is up to you to discuss this on the service day.

Travel fees

A travel fee of $20.00 will apply to all areas in the Auckland City Isthmus.

For all areas outside of the Auckland City Isthmus,  an additional 0.76 cents per km will be charged. A toll road fee is also charged for Northern Auckland areas.

Waiheke Island incurs a travel fee of $150.00. This includes the return ferry ticket, travel time on the ferry for one and a half hours and the taxi charge to get to your location.

Mural Beauty can travel anywhere for your wedding day. However, please note travel is included along with an accommodation fee if needed. Travel and accommodation fees are quoted individually depending on the job and location.

Parking fees, if incurred, are an additional cost payable by you. If your booking is within a hotel, Mural Beauty will quote parking accordingly prior to your wedding date.

Booking Times

Mural Beauty will work to an indicative time schedule for the day. Please note the timing per person is an estimate. Each hair and/or makeup look may take more or less time than planned, depending on the style chosen and the client’s skin or hair type. It is important all clients are near the makeup station at the venue and are on-call throughout the hair and/or makeup service.  Mural Beauty is not held responsible if your desired completion time is not met due to bridal party delays. It is your responsibility to contact Mural Beauty if timings change on the wedding day. Note that Mural Beauty may have more than one wedding to attend and time changes to your wedding may not be possible.

Use of photographs

Mural Beauty would like to share photos of your occasion (including any professional photography) online, via Mural Beauty’s website and social media such as Instagram and Facebook. Please notify Mural Beauty if you would prefer no photos be shared.

Liability

All products, brushes and tools are thoroughly sanitised between each individual makeup application.

You are obligated to report all allergies, skin conditions, or other ailments to Mural Beauty upon booking. Mural Beauty is not liable for any allergic reactions during the makeup application.

Should you bring your own product that you are familiar with, Mural Beauty would be happy to use the product for you.
